“How come our the number of our civil servants at the state remain
29,000 every month even after the retirement of some officals? How come
our wage bill is the same monthly? I am aware that every month people
retire, some die but the wage bill is still the same.
“The work force in the state is very high. I pray that in the future we will see a manageable workforce of about 29, 000 at the state level and 60,000 at the local government level and pay our workers all the allowances, improve their standard of living so that we can get a quality civil service.
