Talk of fast cars and superbikes, Nigeria hosted West Africa’s first Superbike and Motor Racing Championship in Benin City over the weekend. The spectacular event attracted superbike and motor racing champions from across the world to feature in the competition, which was sponsored by Africa’s leading smartphone brand – TECNO Mobile.  

The race which is a solo time trial race over a 33KM distance on a closed public road through the supporting villages of Urhonigbe, Uromehe, Evbonogbon, Obazagbon, Umughun, Ogba, Ugo, Egbokor and Ugbokirima in Orhiomwon LGA of Edo State was covered and captured using the latest smartphone flagship – TECNO Phantom 8. The Phantom 8 is a high-end smartphone with exceptional camera specifications and outlandish design. Winners at the championship were rewarded with several exciting gift items including the Phantom 8.

The media all over the world is currently buzzing over the 'coordinated' attire of the Queen of England and the Nigerian High Commissioner to the UK, Justice Adesola Oguntade and his wife, who were guests at Buckingham palace, yesterday December 6th. Justice Oguntade and his wife were at the palace to present his letter of credence to her majesty. On getting to the palace, the queen and the Oguntade's were surprised to see themselves wearing outfits with same color, almost making it seem as though they planned to do the Nigerian 'and co'. The 91-year-old royal looked her elegant best in a purple dress with a cream and green floral motif while the Oguntades were clad in a matching fabric with Justice Oguntade wearing a purple Agbada with a cream stripe decorating it. while his wife wore the same fabric but designed in Iro and Buba with matching headgear.
